Sharing Life Garden – Happy Farm @ Nong Chok: Nurturing Growth and Opportunity

Sharing Life Garden – Happy Farm @ Nong Chok is more than just a green space. It is a place of learning where the children of Camillian Home for Children Living with Disabilities, Lat Krabang, are encouraged to discover their potential through hands-on experiences, guided by the principles of learning from nature and learning by doing.

Through a variety of activities, the children learn to care for chickens and goats, feed farm animals, prepare fresh ingredients from the farm, and cook their own meals. Every step of the process helps develop motor coordination, concentration, patience, and a sense of responsibility, while also building confidence through the satisfaction of accomplishing tasks with their own hands.

Beyond gaining knowledge in agriculture and animal care, the children also learn the importance of teamwork, sharing responsibilities, supporting one another, and living in harmony with nature. These valuable life skills prepare them for greater independence and help them apply what they have learned in their everyday lives.

At Camillian Home for Children Living with Disabilities, Lat Krabang, we believe that empowering children with disabilities goes beyond classroom education and rehabilitation. It also means creating opportunities for them to learn through real-life experiences, discover their strengths, and grow with dignity and self-confidence.

Sharing Life Garden – Happy Farm @ Nong Chok is therefore a place of opportunity, where every activity nurtures knowledge, practical life skills, and happiness, while laying a strong foundation for each child to move forward with confidence and hope for the future.
