Physical Therapy Program for Older Adults (Saturday Program)
“Promoting Mobility, Restoring Physical Function, and Supporting Quality of Life in the Community”
Camillian Home for Children with Disabilities provides a Physical Therapy Program for Older Adults in the Community to promote health, mobility, and independence in daily living. The program also supports older adults with physical disabilities or mobility limitations, providing appropriate care and rehabilitation tailored to the individual needs and abilities of each person.
Through ongoing community outreach, the Camillian Home team has met many older adults experiencing mobility difficulties. Some have physical disabilities or limitations that affect their ability to carry out daily activities. In response to these needs, the Saturday Physical Therapy Program was established to provide continued access to rehabilitation and physical care.
The program focuses on improving and maintaining physical abilities according to each individual’s needs and capabilities. Activities include mobility exercises, strength and flexibility training, balance exercises, as well as guidance on self-care and safe daily activities.
