Every morning, the nursing team conducts basic health screenings to ensure early detection and prevent the progression of illness. Health education and training are regularly provided, including basic nursing care and annual CPR training for both children and staff. The team also promotes proper nutritional awareness for the children, provides vaccinations, and offers counseling to help prevent mental health issues and support overall well-being.
All children at Camillian Home live with disabilities and/or chronic medical conditions that require regular medical care, hospital visits, and continuous medication. Consistent treatment is essential, as interruption may lead to complications, worsening of conditions, or life-threatening risks.
The nursing team is responsible for coordinating care schedules and organizing staff support to ensure continuity of treatment. This includes managing hospital appointments, supervising medication administration, and providing ongoing symptom-based care. The same standard of care and support is also extended to staff and caregivers when needed.
Oral and dental health rehabilitation is provided by dental professionals to ensure proper oral care for all children.
The nursing team schedules regular follow-up appointments every 3–6 months to monitor and maintain oral health.
All children receive appropriate dental care and treatment, while staff are encouraged and trained to support daily oral hygiene practices, including proper toothbrushing techniques.
Physical therapy involves assessing and analyzing each child’s physical condition to identify functional limitations and rehabilitation needs. The goal is to improve muscle strength, prevent deformities of the bones and joints, and enhance overall mobility.
Therapy also focuses on developing motor control, encouraging the learning of normal movement patterns, improving balance, and training walking skills. These interventions aim to support children in achieving greater independence and performing daily activities as normally and independently as possible.
All children at Camillian Home receive individualized physical therapy tailored to their specific disabilities and needs. Each therapy session typically lasts between 45 minutes to 1 hour. However, since each child has different conditions and levels of disability, the duration and intensity of rehabilitation may vary.
Some children may require more extensive and long-term rehabilitation depending on the severity of their condition. All programs are carefully designed to ensure the most appropriate and effective support for each individual child.
Camillian Home provides services from Monday to Saturday for children with developmental delays, Down syndrome, and autism. Each morning, the children participate in a daily routine that includes a flag ceremony, followed by group physical exercise and meditation in the outdoor area with their peers.
After the morning activities, classroom-based sessions focus on daily living skills and essential life skills training. These include dressing, toileting, counting, learning colors, and other basic foundational learning skills.
In addition to these core skills, the program also supports the development of other essential abilities to help children build independence and improve their overall quality of life.
Children who are able to participate in inclusive education attend kindergarten classes with special education teachers. After lunch, there is a rest period until 2:00 PM, followed by group activities such as storytelling, LEGO building, singing, and dancing.
At 2:30 PM, all children receive a snack. After that, day-care children gradually return home, while some children wait for their parents to pick them up after work. On average, approximately 257 service visits are provided per month. Each activity room is supervised by two dedicated staff members responsible for care and developmental support.
The occupational therapy room focuses on improving children’s attention and concentration, while also emphasizing daily living skills training to promote independence and self-care abilities.
This classroom provides structured learning experiences for children who are developmentally ready and capable of learning at a kindergarten-equivalent level, based on their individual potential. Learning is delivered through play-based approaches that encourage curiosity, engagement, and active participation.
A variety of teaching materials and visually stimulating, colorful learning media are used to attract attention and promote comprehensive development. The program does not focus on formal subject-based learning but instead emphasizes integrated learning activities.
Children are supported in developing independence in daily living skills and self-care. The curriculum is designed to enhance holistic development across physical, emotional, social, and cognitive domains.
It also focuses on strengthening seven key developmental skills:
The art room at Camillian Home operates from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Each child follows an individualized learning schedule based on their type of disability and developmental needs. Different groups receive tailored instruction according to their abilities.
Children with developmental delays or intellectual disabilities are encouraged to explore abstract art, allowing them to express their imagination freely through colors on canvas. Meanwhile, children with higher learning abilities are introduced to more advanced art techniques, such as shading, light and shadow, three-dimensional drawing, and various coloring and painting skills.
This program is designed to support creativity, emotional expression, and skill development according to each child’s potential.
