Sharing Life Garden in Nong Chok under the Happy Farm – Sustainable Happy Agriculture Project
Sharing Life Garden – Happy Farm @ Nong Chok was established through the collaboration of Camillian religious members and the St. Pius X Community, operated by Camillian Home for Children Living with Disabilities in Lat Krabang under the Camillian Foundation of Thailand, together with the Sharing Life Foundation and compassionate lay people who recognize the value of children with disabilities who have been neglected by society and are now growing into adolescence.
The project aims to provide a vocational training space for these children under the guidance of teacher Natwimon Ngamsirijit, who generously donated an 8-rai piece of land for Camillian Home in Lat Krabang to be used for the benefit and development of children with disabilities.

During the tenure of Father Pairat Sriprasert as Provincial Superior of the Camillian Thailand Province (2017–2021) and Assistant Secretary General of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Thailand (Caritas Thailand), he entrusted Father Anusorn Nilkhet, Director of Camillian Home for Children Living with Disabilities in Lat Krabang, with the responsibility of implementing a mission aligned with the community’s approval.
In response to the Church’s call to walk together in accordance with the teachings of Laudato Si’, the “Happy Farm: Sustainable Happy Agriculture Project” was initiated with the following objectives:

The “Happy Farm: Sustainable Happy Agriculture Project” has been progressively developed and was later named the Sharing Life Garden. The project was officially inaugurated through a liturgical blessing ceremony on 15 June 2022, presided over by Father Kriangkrai Sukchit, President of the Sharing Life Foundation, who also officiated the blessing and opening of the project.
From that time until the present, in line with the contemporary teachings of the Church that call us to be more aware of caring for the Earth, our common home, Pope Francis issued the Apostolic Exhortation Laudate Deum on 4 October 2023. This document serves as a continuation of the Encyclical Letter Laudato Si’, issued on 24 May 2015.
In these teachings, the Holy Father calls upon everyone—both Christians and all people of good will—to pay serious attention to the climate crisis, as well as to an inner transformation of the heart that reaches deep into our spiritual life.
The Pastoral Committee and the Social Action Committee of the Camillian Religious Community in Thailand, under the Camillian Foundation of Thailand, in collaboration with the Sharing Life Foundation, have therefore planned to organize another environmental campaign activity, uniting efforts to care for our common home. The activity is entitled:
The objectives of this initiative are to raise awareness among all members of the Camillian community regarding the care of the Earth, our common home. The organization has therefore arranged a concrete symbolic activity, and this environmental campaign for the care of our planet has been established as a result.

In addition to being part of today’s environmental campaign, this activity also serves as a symbolic gesture in preparation for the 75th anniversary celebration of the Congregation, which continues to journey together with the Church in Thailand in caring for and assisting the sick and the suffering, in accordance with the spirit of St. Camillus, the founder of the Camillian Order.
In today’s world, where care for our environment is increasingly needed, we are called to work together in caring for the Earth, our common home, especially in terms of health and hygiene, ensuring that no one is left behind.
