On October 21, 2026, children with disabilities and caregivers from Camillian Home for Children Living with Disabilities, Lat Krabang, visited Happy Farm @Nong Chok for an off-site learning activity.
Happy Farm is a dedicated learning space designed to support the development of children with disabilities and provide opportunities for vocational training. It is particularly intended to help older children who are approaching adolescence develop practical skills and prepare for future employment through the Vocational Development Project for Children with Disabilities.
During this visit, the children participated in various agricultural activities, including watering plants, taking care of vegetable gardens, and harvesting fresh produce grown on the farm. The harvested ingredients included chicken eggs, chilies, papayas, and limes, which were collected for use in meal preparation.
Through these hands-on activities, the children gained valuable opportunities to learn from real-life experiences, develop basic agricultural skills, and practice responsibility and independence. These experiences help build essential life skills and prepare them for future vocational training.
