"Joining Hands to Support Earthquake Survivors" 2

On May 5, 2025, the Social Commission of CARITAS THAILAND, CADIS THAILAND, and CADIS INTERNATIONAL of the Camillian clergy conducted a visit and provided essential supplies to the brothers and sisters from Myanmar who are affected by the earthquake.
In providing assistance to our brothers and sisters in Myanmar this time, it has been divided into 2 groups as follows:

Group 1 is led by Father Phairat Sriprasert, Father Wiroj Nuntachinda, and the CARITAS team from the Chiang Mai Diocese. Group 2 is led by Father Kriangkrai Sukchit, Father Anusorn Nilkhet, and the team from Phu Thong and Achu, who are sailing from Mae Samlaep pier to the Myanmar side.

In the various places we visited, we provided medicine and other essential supplies to our fellow Myanmar citizens as a form of assistance and encouragement to all those affected by the disaster. It is difficult there; there is no electricity, no food, and a severe shortage of supplies, among many other challenges.

I would like to thank the Camillian brothers from various places who have contributed to fundraising and donated goods. I also extend my gratitude to the priests and all the staff who have assisted in preparing the various items, and thank everyone who has participated in this charity through the Camillian.
